Artisan - Engrave Instruction
In Revelation, there are multiple ways to boost your battle rating and Engraving Gems is one of them. Join Xiao Yu to learn more about this feature!
1. Gems and their level
Gems are classified into 3 main types: Epic Gem, Legendary Gem and Exotic Gem.
- Epic Gem serves as the basic Gem can be obtained easily by completing main quests, sub quests and everyday events. Their attributes are also the lowest among 3 types as their gem power is only 1.
- Legendary Gem has a gem power of 3. Their basic attributes are also higher than the Epic Gem. Adventurers should invest in buying Legendary Gems as acquiring them requires less effort compared to obtaining Exotic Gems.
- Exotic Gem has the highest level of gem power among 3 which is 6. Each equipment can be engraved with only 1-2 Exotic Gems. Adventurers can acquire Exotic Gems through various

Each equipment will have a different number of Gem sockets. Depending on your class, you should equip suitable Gems for each class. Below is a reference table of gem types for you to choose from.
2. Enhance Battle Rating by Engraving
2.1 Click [Menu] – [Artisan] – [Equipment] – [Engrave].
2.2 Choose the Equipment you want for Gem Engraving.
Click on an empty slot, choose a Gem, then click “Engrave”. You can undo the engraving later, so feel free to experiment with Gems that best suit your needs.

3. Engraving Runes (to receive more attributes)
Engraving Runes allows you to significantly boost your battle rating by increasing attributes such as strength, intelligence, agility, etc.
3.1 Click the Rune Area
Rune can be found in the center of the circle
3.2 Click “Unlock” to activate the Rune

Note:
Adventurers should unlock Runes starting from Common Runes and progress to Legendary Runes. The higher the Rune level, the more Jade Horns are required.

3.3 Jade Horn for Unlocking Runes
Jade Horns can be obtained through various means such as Royal Orders, Relic Treasure Maps, Guild Auctions, Sect Arenas, Stalls, and The Last Man Standing Finals.

3.4 Meeting the requirements to upgrade Rune level
Activation Condition: Equipments must reach certain a certain Gem power level to activate
Additionally, Adventurers can increase their Gem power level by upgrading Gems.
Gem Power will increase to 24 once the level of Legendary Gem reaches 7
